據(jù)外媒報(bào)道，受柑橘黃龍病影響，美國(guó)佛羅里達(dá)州與洛杉磯的柑橘樹(shù)遭重創(chuàng)，果農(nóng)損失慘重。為應(yīng)對(duì)來(lái)自亞洲的黃龍病，加州果農(nóng)與加州州立大學(xué)波莫納分校聯(lián)手對(duì)抗黃龍病，利用亮腹釉小黃蜂（Tamarixia radiata wasp）這種生物武器進(jìn)行應(yīng)對(duì)。

　　加州州立理工大學(xué)波莫納分校校長(zhǎng)表示，柑橘黃龍病影響加州產(chǎn)值33億美元的柑橘產(chǎn)業(yè)，世界其他地區(qū)的柑橘產(chǎn)業(yè)也大受影響。

　　據(jù)了解，黃龍病由木虱蟲(chóng)引發(fā)。橘子及檸檬等柑橘科的植物，如果感染黃龍病，葉子會(huì)枯黃，果肉變酸，最終果樹(shù)會(huì)死亡。利用木虱蟲(chóng)的天敵-亮腹釉小黃蜂是一種較好的生物應(yīng)對(duì)方法。

　　Armed with a $400,000 grant from the Citrus Pest & Disease Prevention Program, the agriculture-oriented university unveiled a new research greenhouse Monday that may become the second-largest facility in Southern California （the largest is in Mt. Rubidoux） for breeding the Tamarixia radiata, a natural predator of the tree-killing psyllid.

　　The new flank in the war against the citrus plant disease Huanglongbing, carried by the pest, is part of a multi-pronged battle to reduce the infestation of psyllid in Los Angeles, Imperial, Ventura and Riverside counties, wher growers make up a portion of California's $3.3 billion citrus industry.
