內(nèi)容簡述： The following communication, dated 29 July 2020, is being circulated at the request of the delegation of Honduras. Title: Central American Technical Regulation (RTCA) No. 67.01.31:20: Processed foods. Procedures for granting, renewing and amending sanitary registration and authorization.
Description: On 31 March 2006, the Government of the Republic of Honduras notified, in document G/TBT/N/HND/27, draft Central American Technical Regulation (RTCA) No. 67.01.31:06: "Processed foods and beverages. Procedures for sanitary registration and authorization", the aim of which is to establish procedures for the sanitary registration and authorization of processed foods and beverages. It also notified an Addendum to that notification, in document G/TBT/N/HND/27/Add.1, on 2 August 2006. The Regulation applies to processed foods marketed in the States Parties, which are sold as such to consumers. It does not apply to non-processed foods, raw materials or food additives. Ready-to-eat processed foods that are packaged when the product is ordered, requested or purchased by the final consumer are excluded. The purpose of this Addendum is to inform WTO Members that this Regulation has been updated and is now entitled "Central American Technical Regulation (RTCA) No. 67.01.31:20: Processed foods. Procedures for granting, renewing and amending sanitary registration and authorization". Consequently, there will be a period of 60 days for the submission of comments/observations as from the date of notification.
